This has to be one of the most glamorous and uninhibited chandeliers around at the moment! A real Cinderella goes to the ball vision sprang to mind when I first saw this chandelier.
Glam Rock Chanelier
Glam Rock Chandelier was created by Vikki Beamon and Karen Erikson the couple responsible for ‘Erikson Beamon’ fashion accessories. The inspiration behind the idea of Glam Rock Chandelier comes from their contemporary and vintage fashion accessories which are also encrusted and adorned with jewels in a flamboyant and unique manner.
Dripping with Japanese glass pearls, Swarovski crystals, glass and antique brass this chandelier is more object d’art than a practical lighting alternative.
This chandelier would certainly make a real statement when suspended in a room with a high ceiling! You would need to live in a large house to show Glam Rock Chandelier at its very best!
Let’s be honest here, this is definitely no ordinary chandelier to suit the average home or interior design style.
Opulence and pure indulgence spring to mind with this design concept. For those who adore Glam Rock this exuberant lighting design is reminiscent of the heady days of partying in the 80s. It may just be the visual tonic needed to boost spirits in time for Christmas and New Years festivities in 2008!
A brilliant concept to bring a revival to all things glamorous! Not surprisingly Glam Rock Chandelier has quite a hefty price tag and is only available as custom made object d’art. Maybe it will be more economical to introduce your self slowly to the flamboyant world of ‘Erikson Beamon’ and opt for a piece of glam rock jewellery which is on a much smaller scale then their chandelier!
