Karma Chair

This beautiful dark bamboo veneer Karma Chair designed by Jeffery Woolenzien is simplicity itself to assemble.

Comprising of two identical pieces of veneered and layered bamboo veneer the ergonomically design pieces simply slide lock together and fasten with a few clips to form this stunning chair.

Low to the floor the chair pieces are shaped to provide comfort for both lumbar and legs. The carved out designs are opposing so there is no worry of mixing up the seat and the back when assembling.

Made from just two pieces there are no actual legs to the chairs, the weight is distributed across the width at the front and with the two pieces joined at the back stability is achieved.

One or more of these chairs would look great in a conservatory to provide a very relaxed and informal area. The natural colour of the veneered bamboo is ideal to coordinate with masses of plants and flowers to offer a real touch of nature brought inside. As with any conservatory furniture and floor coverings protection from the sun to prevent fading would be an absolute necessity for this design.

Karma Chair would look equally stunning used as seating in a minimalist and contemporary home interior. Used with natural wood flooring or deep pile carpets and a scattering of rugs this chair would almost certainly bring a sense of serenity and calm to a room. An ideal chair for peaceful contemplation.

These chairs are simple in design yet very striking in appearance. A truly ingenious design idea brought to life in practical and very useable furniture. A great addition to flat pack furniture design concepts of the present and future.

Who says good design concepts have to be complicated? It’s the simplicity of this design which is so appealing.
